Commercial Operators

If you want to operate a business in Wellington Park, you will need to obtain a Commercial Operator's Licence from the Trust. This includes tour operators visiting the Park, walking guides, mountain bike coaches and organisers of recurring events.

If you are also intending to operate your business in reserves controlled by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania, you can obtain a single licence that also includes Wellington Park, rather than applying for 2 separate licences. 

The Trust uses the Parks and Wildlife Service commercial licence application form. If you will only be operating in Wellington Park, please return the form directly to the Trust at info@wellingtonpark.org.au. 

A non-refundable application fee of $187 applies. Licences are typically issued for 5 years, and an annual fee of $300 + GST applies. This is invoiced directly at the beginning of each financial year.
