The Wellington Park Management Trust is looking for a talented all-rounder to lead the delivery of the Park's Visitor and Recreation Strategy (VRS).
Wellington Park is an 18,250 ha reserve adjacent to Hobart in southern Tasmania. kunanyi / Mount Wellington, located within the Park, is Tasmania's most visited natural attraction. The VRS will guide the provision and management of visitor services and facilities. You will work closely with the local and state government agencies that own the land within the Park, whilst protecting the Park's natural and heritage values.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the VRS Coordinator will demonstrate effective project management skills and be adept at communicating and consulting in a complex stakeholder environment. Data analysis skills to enable interpretation and reporting of visitor data, and experience in nature-based tourism will be highly regarded.
As part of a small team of Trust staff, you will also assist with general communication and engagement activities, and contribute to the upcoming review of the Wellington Park Management Plan.
