This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Wellington Park.
The Wellington Park Act passed through Parliament in 1993, unifying and formalising management arrangements for a mosaic of different land tenures across the Wellington Range into a new reserve to be known as Wellington Park. The goal of was to protect the natural, cultural, drinking water catchment, aesthetic, tourism and recreation values of the new Park.
Thirty years on, the Wellington Park Management Trust invites you to reflect on the values of the Park, its history and its future. We want to share discoveries and lessons, and acknowledge the diversity and passion of Park users. We welcome you to participate in the events below. Enjoy walks, creative experiences, art, music, and more.
